A weekend in France: Nice and Èze part

We arrived at Nice pretty late but we decided to walk around anyway. Our hostel is very close to the train station and only 15 minutes walk to the beach. The premenade next to the beach is full of restaurants and bars. Crowds gathered because there was a football game. Everybody was cheered up in the cool and nice weather. Street artists was selling hand-made jewelry. Most of them was very pretty. It was hard to hold back the impulsion of buying something.

The next day was raining most of the time. It affected our trip to a certain extend but the little town Èze was just too beautiful. We hiked up to the medieval town, Èze village following le Chemin de Nietzsche. It was a hiking in the pouring rain in slippers and skirt. (The hiking was completely unexpected.)

We were already soaking wet when we arrived at the Èze village. This medieval town is full of artistic elements, from the architecture to local stores. A crèpe for lunch is so typical traveling in France.
Walking by the beach side enjoying the sunshine and sea water is nice, but it is not very pleasant to be soaked again. I was trying to a picture but the wave was so unexpectedly huge. This second I was posing and smiling. The next second I was soaked, again. Nice experience though.
