We had a very busy day today. We walked a lot just as yesterday.
We saw the breathtaking cathedral of Saint John the Devine. It’s so huge. Really, whenever it comes to churches and religion thing, people won’t feel the price of it. It’s like they just throw all the money they have in the world.
After that, we went to the American Museum of Natural History. The exact one where the film series Night at the museum was filmed. We saw the stone scurpture where the character say the famous line “dum dum give me gum gum”. The museum was so big and crowded. We spent almost 40 mins waiting in line to get the voucher. And we walked and walked and walked. It’s like we can never cover every exhibition. It was fun generally though.
In the late afternoon, we enjoyed some free time and warm sunshine in Central Park. There were so many pigeons, and they are not afraid of the passers-by at all. But they are the owner of the city than we do.
One stupid thing. We learned how to use the selfie stick and we can’t stop doing it today.
We had a interesting dinner. The restaurant is at the 119, 56 st. It was called the burger joint. This not-so-expensive diner is in a expensive looking hotel. Weird enough.
But for the city that never sleeps, stores close at 7 and 8 in the evening is insane. I still love New York. You can always find something new here.
